The Heritage Singers celebrating Jamaica’s 50 years of Independence
present: Hallelujah. The show is a potpourri of religious music in
Jamaica, which is reputed to have the most churches, per capita, in the
world. This concert will provide servings of dynamic rhythms and harmony,
drumming, dancing and a celebration of religion through a musical
journey that will evoke nostalgia. The program will integrate songs from
Nine Nite, Spirituals, Rastafarian and Revival, accompanied by
tambourine, drums, steel pans and other instruments. These rousing
Revival, Folk, and Spirituals will have you jumping to your feet!
