WE ARE SET ON CREATING A HOUSE MUSIC EXPERIENCE IN BEDDED IN SOULFUL ISLAND ROOTS. ON THIS DAY WE CELEBRATE CARIBBEAN VIBES & INSTRUMENTATION IN HOUSE, WITH LIVE AS WELL AS PRE-RECORDED ELEMENTS OF CALYPSO, SOCA, CADANCE, ZOUK, DUB REGGAE, TRADITIONAL RHYTHMS & MORE.

iDrum Island House @ Johnny Jackson, Toronto, ON - Fri May 16th!

For over 14 years iDRUM has represented the roots of house music via African Caribbean and World music culture through the drum, the earliest musical instrument.

On Friday May 16th, we will be playing Caribbean rhythms on the djembe, bongo drums, the steel pan, vinyl, cd and the voice.

Expect flavours of the West Indies including jerked eats, rum specials with a sugar cane garnishing and nature island imagery... A all star team consisting of Davidson Conceptualist, Andy Philips, Ron Jon and Taboo (the life of the party)
