The concept is based on the insight people never really leave “back home” no matter where they eventually reside. This concept exploits people’s feelings of pride for the mother country by pitting comedians representing Trinidad and Jamaica against each other in a “joke-off”
The first two events were held in Toronto in November 2007,2008 and was sold out despite little advertising. One email blast was all it took
