When Sisters Speak 11, January 15th, 2011
Happy New Year everyone!!! As you should be accustomed to by now, we always start the year with the ladies, and we're very excited for this year's edition of When Sisters Speak!!
On Saturday, January 15th, Up From The Roots presents the 11th Annual When Sisters Speak Spoken Word Concert at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts at 8pm! Advance tickets are on sale now through the St. Lawrence Centre box office, in person at 27 Front Street East, online at www.stlc.com, by phone at 416.366.7723, or via email money transfer to info@upfromtheroots.ca. Tickets range between $35 and $45.
Witness performances by Toronto's Motion and Keisha Monique, Edmonton's Titilope Sonuga, Brantford's Kiki, Miami's Renea Moss, Indiana's Tasha Jones, Buffalo's Erika Haygood, and a special dance performance from Tamla Matthews.
