Lord Bubba's Nu-Jazz Project is an acid-jazz/contemporary jazz act based out of Toronto, Canada. The band combines the sounds of jazz, funk, soul, and bossa and combines it with more traditionally electronic elements such as house and drum & bass. Lord Bubba's Nu-Jazz Project consists of Elena Kapeleris on saxophone, Scott Metcalfe on keyboards, Rich Brisco on drums, Rino Manfredi on percussion and Lord Bubba on bass.

Samantha Clayton 

 Jazz vocalist and dancer, Samantha Clayton is a Toronto based performer reinterpreting the songs of the "brilliant" Thelonious S. Monk as well as some unique selections from the American Songbook. Presenting the weird and the wonderful in her sassy and confident stage presence, Samantha promises to merge audiences of varying backgrounds with some rare picks from Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Stephen Sondheim, and Randy Newman.
Joining Samantha will be pianist/conducter/arranger Steve Hunter. Together they are the Brilliant Corners Duo.

Recently, Carl performed in the National Jazz Orchestra at the 2009 National Jazz Awards.
