The agenda of the night will be more than just dancing, eating and mingling but we are currently designing a programme that will be dedicated to women, and the power that we hold within our issues and situations in life. As women we all have our own story but collectively we stand on a platform for empowerment… Every woman has a story and every story has a journey. Our event name is “Listen to Me N.O.W” Listen to Me is the slogan that we are pushing for our campaign to bring light to help in the eradication of violence against women and encourage them to have a voice that must be heard. “Listen II Me N.O.W” Networking Our Women!

PURPOSE: “Listen II Me II is the much anticipated follow-up to the inaugural Listen II Me held on July 9, 2011” EXHBIT our work, SHOWCASE our Network of business women and most importantly bring AWARENESS to violence against women. This event is to bring consciousness to our entire journey, and celebrate the empowerment that we have achieved from our story. The issue of Violence Against Women affects us all directly or indirectly. We will be raising money through our “Listen II ME” t-shirt sales and a portion of the proceeds will be given to a non-profit organization, Dr. Roz’s Healing Place, to assist in workshops of empowerment. We are currently working with the same women’s shelter in hosting another day’s workshop where we will completely make over the residents with hair, make- up ,stylist, runway coach & self esteem builder, Dj and at the end they will be given an opportunity to showcase their make-over in a photo session. As we stated earlier our mission is more than taking pictures, it is mirrorimaging the soul, mind and body. “Listen II ME” was created by Saunia Watkis –Fagan & Sonia Watkis, Founder of VII XV by MirrorImages Photography that is more than taking pictures but engaging in conversations with our clients (predominately women) that goes deeper than the surface. We decided to combine what we love which is photography and empowering women in celebrating their beauty both inner and out, beyond their stories. Supporting the women in seeing, themselves as victors instead of victims of their circumstances. The mission is to empower and promote action in the eradication of violence against women.
This is the 2nd annual event produced by VII XV by MirrorImages.
