The Toronto African Film & Music Festival starts off with the Opening Party on Friday October 19, at Lucy Restaurant located at 1690 Danforth Ave, just east of Coxwell Ave. The party will have live musical performaces by Jaffa, and also playing Mis Blandine.

On Saturday October 20th, the premier Fashion Show & Dinner starts at 6pm, then the fashion show starts with local African designers Cynthia Emua of Emua fashions, designer Benie Boo, and Ophelia's Closet.
With dancers performing inbetween the two collections, and afterwards a special guest KALUNGA to perform a live music til the end of the night.
