BAND presents Lesia Bailey’s Evolution, a celluloid journey through Toronto’s Dance-Hall scene. The exhibit was originally mounted during the TD Then and Now 2013 Series, and its re-imagined version is now on display until June 2 at the BAND gallery.

While Bailey’s evocative and candid images often defy description, the process, the stories, and the experiences that led to their capture are truly remarkable. Join us for the rare opportunity to hear from “Pictalady" Lesia Bailey as she takes us on an insider’s journey through the Dance-Hall scene.
