The Brothas Concert @ Lula Lounge, Toronto, ON - Thurs Jun 20th!

They're BA-AAACK! Just months after the inaugural Brothas Concert – the first known event of its kind – The Brothas return to Lula Lounge for one night only! The overwhelmingly positive response from the public necessitated a return engagement.

Once again, artist, producer, CBC broadcaster and impresario Andrew Craig brings together twelve of Toronto’s Black keyboard players on one stage, for one extraordinary night of music:

Several members of this elite group have worked with a staggering array of Juno-winning artists, in a variety of genres. Many have also won multiple awards for their own artistic output. Covering a wide range of musical styles, in everything from duo to full group numbers, the Brothas will put three generations of virtuosi from Toronto’s Black community on full display! This collection of renowned keyboard players, all of Canadian, Caribbean-Canadian and African-American origin – and all on one stage at the same time – takes the audience on an incredible journey through gospel and soul, jazz and funk.
