Be the first to meet the lineup for the 2013 Honey Jam Concert! Hailing from Vancouver, London, Montreal, Nova Scotia and Toronto, the 20 artists who made the cut to perform this year will be announced at the official Honey Jam launch on Thursday, July 11th, at 6:30pm at the TD Tower on the 54th floor.
Canada’s longest-running all-female concert is celebrating 18 years of providing networking, educational and showcasing opportunities for young artists.
Honey Jam Producer and Founder Ebonnie Rowe will detail plans for this year’s showcase, artist workshop and some exciting opportunities some of the artists will receive, such as an opportunity to perform at the Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artist Stage as well as a chance to perform in Barbados.
Board Member Vivian Barclay, General Manager of Warner Chappell Music Publishing, will do a Q&A with Juno Award winner Q-Benjamin who will share her journey in the music industry with the artists.
Honey Jam advance Tickets will be available for sale along with their fundraising buttons with the caption “Honey Jam Honey, Playgirl but no Bunny!”
Proceeds from this year’s Honey Jam, taking place Thursday, August 15 at the Mod Club, will support YWCA Toronto's programs for women and girls. Representatives from YWCA Toronto will be present at the launch with an information booth about the great work they're doing in the community.
Arrive early as Gift bags will be provided for the first 50 attendees!
