"Helping Every Youth Magazine" is launching our print and online magazine on August 18 at Daniels Spectrum featuring DeVon Franklin, the Senior VP of Production for Columbia Tristar Pictures. This magazine is a youth focused magazine that will provide youth from 16-35 with an outlet for expression and peer inspiration. We will also have a physical presence in the community through our WaveMakers Street Team that will host creative arts events, career and skill building workshops, youth counseling and feed the homeless programs.
Apart from serving as the launch event for HEY Magazine, WaveMakers 2013 will be an event geared towards inspiring, motivating, and educating youth and young adults emerging from all walks of life. Guests will be engaged in interactive coaching segments and will gain up close and personal access to the intimate details of various young entrepreneurs' success stories; the objective being that they leave the experience with a clearer sense of purpose and direction. The evening will consist of pop up style presentations, live performances, contests, giveaways and spotlight segments featuring young individuals who are creating waves of change in their communities.
