5th Anniversary Double Bill Brown's 1-2-3 Head-to-Head FUNdraiser Slam @ Measure, Toronto, ON - Wed Sept 18th!

Canada's ONLY monthly slam in the 1-2-3 format celebrates five years of existence with a Double Bill Brown Head-to-Head FUNdraiser in support of the BB123 Slam Team!! Winner takes home $200!

BB123 Slam began at the Umi Cafe in Ottawa in September 2008. Since then, it has been held in five venues in two different cities, but it has retained its identity throughout: an intimate setting, great poetry and a warm, accepting and open community! Come help us celebrate our big milestone while supporting a great cause!

At this show, registered poets will compete in up to four rounds of head-to-head slam goodness! The round of 16 is one-minute poems, with the quarterfinal round 2-minute poems and the semifinals and finals being 3-minute poems. The winner of the night takes home not one, but TWO Bill Browns! (That's $200!)

To register, send $15 via email transfer or in person to Cytopoetics (cytoinfo@cytopoetics.ca) to get in on the action. It's going to be a really fun night, and you should come through and be part of it!
