In the beautiful and intimate setting of the Toronto Centre for the Arts' Gallery, our series will continue to give audiences a chance to see Toronto talent up-close and personal. Each night, you will be able to enjoy 2 very different artist performances, exploring a variety of genres.
LISA MICHELLE
Lisa Michelle is a multi-faceted artist from Toronto, who graces the stage, screen and recording studio with her passion for performance. She’s independently released three R&B Soul albums since 2011: Love Lessons, Rebound and her latest project, This Moment - executive produced by Juno-nominated artist & producer, Solitair. Lisa Michelle has been invited to perform in some of the country’s biggest music festivals including Canadian Music Week, Irie Music Fest and 2013’s Montreal Jazz Festival.
JAMIE OLIVER
Introducing Jamie Oliver, up and coming local crooner. Raised in Northern Ontario, currently resides in Toronto. Leads local honky tonkers "Big Tobacco & the Pickers" (country), and lead vocalist for the 10 piece, Toronto based outfit "The Double Cuts" (Western Swing/Trad Jazz). His expressive vocal styling, and dynamic, genial stage presence have captivated audiences around the province. Inspired mostly by classic country legends, Oliver relays what he sees, hears and feels through his own songs with ease.
