Kya Publishing's 2nd Annual Toronto Urban Book Expo (TUBE) @ Toronto Public Library (Malvern Branch), Scarborough, ON - Sat Feb 28th!


Kya Publishing's 2nd Annual Toronto Urban Book Expo (TUBE) is taking place this Saturday, February 28 at the Toronto Public Library (Malvern Branch, 30 Sewells Road at Neilson) from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

This is a FREE event for all ages—a Black History Month book fair featuring 15 local urban writers, selling and celebrating their projects: urban fiction, children’s books, motivational texts, and poetry.

FEATURING:

·        Book launches from children’s authors Angela Walcott, and Simone DaCosta

·        An open meeting of the BlackStarLine Readers Book Club, who will be speaking with Toronto author Kamilah Haywood about her new urban fiction book Concrete Jungle

·        Great raffles prizes: a Kobo Arc 7 e-reader, and a Chapters/Indigo gift certificate

·        A chance to win tickets to an upcoming Toronto Raptors game (with the purchase of a book)

·        Live music from DJ Majesty

·        Refreshments, and a chance to network with Toronto’s hottest urban writers

·        An opportunity to purchase my Urban Toronto Tales book collection, and my new novel Carnival Spotlight
