Michel Mpambara’s One-Man Show @ Alliance française de Toronto’s Theatre, Toronto, ON - Tues Feb 10th!

For One Night Only
In Toronto!

Tuesday February 10, 2015
Michel Mpambara, an accomplished artist of African origin who, for the last 20 years, has been working hard on the Quebec scene to entertain, make people laugh and represent his two cultures (Rwanda and Canada) will be presenting his one-man show to commemorate Black History Month.

Early on, his stand-up routines performed at the The Just for Laughs Festival got him noticed; later he began hosting a TV travel show « Adoptez Mpambara » in which he explored different parts of Quebec. On the big screen, he appeared in Dany Laferrière’s « Comment conquérir l’Amérique en une nuit » and in 2001, his one-man show « Y’a trop de blanc au Québec » earned him a Felix Award for Best Stand-Up Comedy.

In honor of the Rwandan culture and all black communities from here and abroad, Michel Mpambara will be performing a one-man show specifically created for the occasion and we’re certain the self-deprecating humour and critical eye of this one-of-a-kind artist will conquer the Queen city and its public.
