The 23rd Annual A.B.L.E. Scholarship Awards Ball @ Ajax Convention Centre, Ajax, ON - Sat May 9th!


The Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.) will be hosting the 23rd Annual Scholarship Awards Ball on Saturday, May 9th, 2015. This year's theme is Bridging the Gap: Fostering Community Relationships.

We are thrilled to announce that Deputy Commissioner Kimberly Beaty, the first female Deputy Commissioner of African descent in the history of the Buffalo Police Department (New York, USA), will deliver the keynote address.

Also in attendance, is special guest Captain Ronald S. Johnson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He is known around the world for his significant contribution to bridging the gap during the Ferguson, Missouri (USA) crisis.

The highlight of the evening will be the Scholarship Awards. We will recognize academic excellence and community service amongst the young people from our community.

The Scholarship Awards Ball program features a keynote address, formal dinner, awards presentation, entertainment, open bar, dancing and networking.

This year's event will be held at the Ajax Convention Centre located at 550 Beck Crescent, Ajax, Ontario, and is co-sponsored by Durham Regional Police Service.

Tickets are $130. A $5 surcharge will apply.
