TORONTO JAZZ FESTIVAL
Swingin', stomping, and singin, on spirituals, ragtime, blues
and jazz standards, the Sean Stanley Quartet is an improvisational group of talented musicians dedicated to respecting the true spirit of Jazz.

Led by Sean Stanely on piano, the quartet also has Jorge Gavidia on Upright Bass, Jag Shival on Drums and Sokhna-Dior on vocals.

TORONTO JAZZ FESTIVAL

Born and raised in Canada, jazz trumpeter and composer Mike Field is known for his bright, upbeat and energetic music. His latest album, Rush Mode, won five Aurora Awards, two Independent Music Video Awards (IMVAs) and was nominated for two Independent Music Awards (IMAs). He performs his compositions with local musicians at jazz festivals, societies and clubs in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, North America and Antarctica.

DAVE HUTCHISON

David Hutchison is one of Canada's most versatile and experienced drummer/percussionists, with a musical background that spans virtually every current genre. Jazz, pop, reggae, calypso, country, rock, latin, rhythm & blues, fusion, big band, and more, have all been integral parts of his 35 year career as a professional musician.. A natural leader, he now teaches and leads groups that perform regularly in the Toronto area. He has recorded in studios across North America, and in Europe.

NEIL BRATHWAITE

Raised in Montreal, Quebec, with West Indian roots in Barbados, Saxophone player Neil Brathwaite is a well-known jazz musician in Toronto.   

Neil was introduced to classical music and studied piano with Daisy Sweeney, the sister of Oscar Peterson’s sister, at the age 7. He was initiated to Jazz by his dad and began to play Alto sax in highschool. Studied Sciences at the Université de Montpelier / France and later studied saxophone in the Jazz program at Humber College with Pat Labarera.
