JAMAICA DAY is the longest running Cultural & Music Festival, established in 1991 to promote and preserve and Jamaica's heritage; highlighting the island’s beauty in a safe, family-oriented environment. The Festival was initially birthed to counter a negative image in Toronto that had developed regarding Jamaican's in the 70s and 80s.
The Festival has had a strong impact on developing both Canadian and International artistes, by providing a platform showcasing their talent to thousands in a first-rate production. In our 25th year of producing the festival, we maintain our commitment to serve the community by providing jobs for both local/international artistes, donate to families in need, students scholarship and promote the heritage of Jamaica while encouraging peace, love and unity.
