Heralded as America’s Cultural Ambassador to the World, the company comes to the Sony Centre to showcase the vision of Artistic Director Robert Battle with programming that embraces the tradition of such beloved classics as Revelations and extends the legacy in dynamic new directions.

Former principal dancer (Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble; Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal) George Randolph is a pioneer in Triple Threat arts training in Canada. With over 35 years of arts education experience, he nurtures young talent as founder/president of the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts; co-founder of Show Choir Canada; and curriculum development leader for youth arts programs in Amman, Jordan and Shanghai, China. He twice represented Canada’s arts training on economic trade missions with Premier Kathleen Wynne. He has also produced four international dance extravaganzas, featuring the National Ballet of Canada, Bolshoi Ballet, and New York City Ballet, and won a Canadian Screen Award as co-producer of the TVO documentary Unsung: Behind the Glee.
