Get On Up @ BLND TGER, Toronto, ON - Sat Mar 5th!

What’s up everyone…March 5th , its the return of where DJ Starting from Scratch will be going back to his roots and bringing good friend KARDINAL OFFISHALL!!!

He will also be playing the music that Scratch loves & feels that there is a need for, in small venues. That being said, GET ON UP is a tribute to the great R&B and Hip Hop of the 90s, the stuff we used to party to at California Dreams, Kajmere, Kremlin, Jerk Pit, Fluid, Spectrum, etc. Not just the stuff that gets played at all these “90s parties” today, but, Scratch will be digging in the crates & resurrecting the music that had the parties jumping in the heart of the 90s

He will be focusing more on the R&B aspect this time around, with a fair share of Hip Hop thrown in as well.

Every 90s party nowadays focuses on the regular music you hear all the time & there’s nothing wrong with that, as that music is great as well, BUT,  Scratch misses going in to a party & hearing 702, Portrait, Eric Gable, Eternal, Troop, Riff, Silk, Xscape, Whitehead Brothers, Intro, R Kelly, Blackstreet, Monica, Jodeci, Guy, Christopher Williams, SWV, Changing Faces, Brandy in the prime of the party.

There’s a huge void for that music now as most clubs/parties are trapping & twerking it up, so, Scratch will be doing events throughout the year that will focus on music that is outside the current box, for those that enjoy that.

MARCH 5th 2015 - SFS ENT presents “Get On Up”, a tribute to the great R&B and Hip Hop of the 90s, taking place inside BLND TGER, 559 College St, Toronto, ON

Time:  10pm-3:30am

This a limited capacity venue, so, make sure you understand the music format before you make your decision to come down AND if this something you really want to attend, please come early as this is a first come, first serve party.
