The Taste of Jesus in the City is a free Live Music & Arts Celebration Kick-off Concert / Festival that brings the local community together in preparation for the Annual Jesus in the City Parade held in September, which draws over 15,000 to 25,000 in attendance each year. On June 25th, 2016 the Taste of JITC Kick-off event will be held at Yonge-Dundas Square, showcasing some of Toronto's cultural and artistic diversity.
The Taste of JITC is organized by Festival of Praise International a nonprofit charitable organization in the City of Toronto that networks with local churches, charities and businesses to impact and transform their communities, utilizing music the arts and culture. The event is volunteer run, from the organizers to the performers.
