The 13th Annual Barbados Ball, organized under the theme “Pride and Industry, Celebrating 50 Years of Nationhood “, will be held on Saturday June 25th, 2016, at Pearson Convention Center, Brampton.
Entertainment at the Ball will feature internationally known Barbadian soca artists Edwin Yearwood and Red Plastic Bag along with Toronto's own Big Band Susan G and Neu Jenarashun. Barbadian chef Paul Yellin will ensure the cuisine will feature Barbadian treats. The Ball will also recognize and celebrate the recipient of the Barbados Ball Award - an outstanding Barbadian-Canadian who has made history in North America.
Barbados Ball raises funds to provide scholarships to youth of Barbadian heritage attending college or university in Canada and to support healthcare initiatives such as SickKids-Caribbean Initiative.
Tickets are $225.00 each.
