Toronto based singer/songwriter Joanna Mohammed has a rich, soulful, and distinctive voice that has been compared to the likes of Adele, Jill Scott, and a young Aretha Franklin.  After graduating from Humber College with a degree in Contemporary Music, she has spent the last few years focused on crafting and perfecting her own sound.

Joanna showcases her creative versatility through multiple projects such as The St. Royals (Soul/Motown), The Daft Punk Tribute Band (Electronic, Nu-Disco),  and The Measure (Folk, Acoustic Soul).  She does not let anything hold her back from taking risks and expanding her musical abilities, all while becoming one of the most recognized and respected vocalist in her hometown of Toronto.

KRISTIN FUNG'S VOICE IS A GENUINE FORCE OF NATURE THAT PROPELS HER MAGNETIC ORIGINAL SONGS AND KILLER VERSIONS OF SOUL/R&B CLASSICS. A CAPTIVATING SINGER, PIANIST AND SONGWRITER INSPIRED BY 70S R&B, FUNK, JAZZ AND GOSPEL WITH AN INDIE SOUL VIBE, FUNG RELEASED HER DEBUT EP “MASSIVE STRIDE” IN THE FALL OF 2012 WHICH WAS AWARDED A GRANT FROM FACTOR (FOUNDATION ASSISTING CANADIAN TALENT ON RECORDINGS). HAILING FROM VANCOUVER, BC, SHE HAS PERFORMED AT THE VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL AND IN NEW YORK, MONTREAL AND TORONTO - WHERE SHE NOW MAKES HER HOME. FEATURING MAX SENITT ON PERCUSSION.
