The Watah Theatre is going on hiatus for the upcoming season. Join us in highlighting 4 years of supporting and developing the legacy of Black Theatre through the production and cultivation of Black & diverse works. It is a time to celebrate all that Watah has accomplished with our community in just 4 years!
On June 26, at the Theatre Centre, The Watah Theatre will be hosting the D’BI. FAREWELL FUNDRAISER GALA which will feature live performances, music, food and a good old-fashion dance party!
Doors open at 7pm and the live performances kick off on the main stage of the Theatre Centre at 7:30pm.
Advance tickets are $25. Tickets will be available at the door for $30.
All proceeds from the event will go towards d’bi.young anitafrika’s GoFundMe campaign, helping her further develop the Anitafrika Method at Goldsmiths, University of London, this fall.
