Toronto has a rich legacy in the literature and the newspapers of the early Black community in Ontario. Visit the museum on weekends during Black History Month, and learn more about some of the Black Victorians of Toronto, featuring those who published newspapers during that era. Print a souvenir copy of Mary Ann Shadd Cary's newspaper, "The Provincial Freeman", in the re-created 1850s print shop.
