You are invited to this transformational evening of Shamanic Drumming, Dance, Ceremony, Guided Meditation & Sound Alchemy ❤ An evening that is designed to tantalize your senses, uplift your spirit, and re-ignite your inner radiance ❤ An evening amongst soul family, amongst your tribe; an uplifting gathering to make new friends that feel right for where you are right now in your journey ❤
Outline of the evening(Please bring a CUSHION for your comfort for the Drum Circle. A few chairs are also available):
- 7:15 pm- Arrive, get smudged, get your face and body paint grooves on, meet 'n' mingle while dinner is served (pre-purchase required for dinner)
- 7:30 pm- Opening Circle followed by a Shamanic Drum Journey by Rufus Glassco (expect to have a LOT of fun)
- 9:30 pm - Guided Meditation leading into an Ecstatic Dance set (Tribal/ Shamanic Deep House beats)
- 11:00 pm - Crystal Bowl Soundbath
- 11:15 pm - Closing Circle
- 11:45 - Wrap up, hugs and goodbyes until we meet again
This evening will be composed of a diversity of elements woven together to honor our individual and collective journeys while releasing all that does not serve us through dance and play!
Over 100 Djembes, Drums, Rattles & Shakers will be provided as our special guest, Elder & Drum Circle Facilitator - Rufus Glassco - as he guides us through a fully facilitated, fun and playful ceremonial drumming circle leading into an Ecstatic Dance set by Soul Movement's EPIC DJ's. Bring your intentions, your dreams & goals and release them into this powerful vortex of infinite proportions!
So many of us are in a state of METAMORPHOSIS, leaving behind old ways, societal conditioning and limiting beliefs and stepping into a more heart-centered, and a more empowered version of ourselves. A version that may feel completely different, but at the same time feels so right to our heart, to our soul ❤ Just like a butterfly, which is a miracle of transformation, a symbol of change and self-transformation. Its journey and metamorphosis from a humble Earthbound caterpillar to winged beauty with the gift of flight carries powerful meaning that speaks to our own capacity to move through different life cycles, mirroring our own journeys of regeneration, renewal, expansion, and rebirth.
***We define ecstatic dance as a state of being, where you give yourself permission to express yourself through movement, through feeling, and through expression in an authentic form where you are completely centered in your heart space. A state of being wherein you feel uplifted, in a SOBER space full of positivity and love, where you dance barefoot and feel grounded and connected to Earth; A state of expression that emanates from your heart and soul, and not your ego. Where everyone on the dance floor suddenly seems familiar, like an old group of close friends or soul family reuniting, because you feel a resonance, a connection ♥ The music is a delicious combination of hand-picked beats and rhythms from various cultures around the Globe that invoke a state of euphoria, bliss, and positivity through specific sound vibrations and intentions. No experience is required; this is for anyone and everyone. Imagine your inner child dancing joyously in the rain without the outer awareness of being watched; that's what it will feel like to be dancing in this space ***

As always, a Healing Sanctuary will be available all night (cash only) for you to indulge in a massage, an energy healing or reiki session, see a psychic or get a tarot card reading ❤

20% of the profits of all our events are donated to The Andy Kind Heart Charity in Uganda, Africa. In 2017, Soul Movement sponsored a Water Reservoir for the Butebi Village of Uganda that supplies clean water for the first time to this entire Village.
In 2019, Soul Movement sponsored an Orphanage for kids ages 3Y to 6Y, for early education ❤ We are looking to build a School for children 7Y to 10Y next. A big shout-out to our patrons for helping give the gift of clean water and education to this beautiful Community ❤ This dream would not be possible without your love and support!
