The first edition of Legacies Caribe brings to you "Heart of Cuba" - a production showcasing Cuban dance traditions. Featuring choreographies by Cuban-Canadian artists - Arsenio Andrade Calderon (National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica, Teatro Danza del Caribe) and Jose Angel Carret (Danza Corpus, Carret Dance Conservatory), alongside Ballet Creole's Artistic Director - Patrick Parson. Ballet Creole's 29th Dance Season production celebrates Cuba's African roots and two of the country's most influential figures in Cuban modern dance - Eduardo Rivera and Ramiro Guerra.
