Barbados Prime Minister, David Thompson, was the Keynote Speaker at the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) Canadian Chapter Fundraising dinner last Saturday at the Delta Toronto East Hotel in Scarborough, Ontario. Thompson, who was sworn in January of this year, urged foreigners to invest in Barbados to build a new health care facility to replace the country's current largest hospital, the Queen Elizabeth.

Nearly 600 people were in attendance at this gala affair.
