Go Tell It On The Mountain: The Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Show
Roy Thomson Hall presents
Formed in 1939 by glee club members at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind, The Blind Boys of Alabama have built their dynasty on gospel music. It took 70-odd years for the group to realize a long-standing dream: to record a country album, a project that attracted Nashville giants Willie Nelson, Lee Ann Womack and Hank Williams, Jr. This year, the Blind Boys are focusing on a new Christmas album to complement the 2004 disc Go Tell It On The Mountain, the centerpiece of this show-stopping holiday celebration.
Roy Thomson Hall, 60 Simcoe Street, Toronto, ON
Tickets: $39.50 - $69.50
