For 40 years, David Bromberg has artfully interpreted blues, folk, rock, jazz, pop, bluegrass, and gospel. A gifted guitarist, songwriter, and Grammy nominated recording artist, Bromberg has collaborated with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, the Grateful Dead, and many other artists. New Orleans living legend Allen Toussaint is a composer, arranger, producer, pianist, and singer whose abundant gifts are woven into the fabric of American popular music. He wrote Working in the Coalmine, Ride Your Pony, Riverboat, Get Out of My Life, Woman, and dozens of other classic songs. A New York Times review of a recent Toussaint show describes him as “poised and light-fingered, without an unconsidered note. And somehow New Orleans was in every phrase, with hints of swing, of humor, of sly sensuality.”
