30 years ago these 5 high school students spent a whole Saturday in detention & their lives were changed forever. So it was for all who watched this movie as well.
The thing that always intrigued me about this movie was that you had 5 totally different people from 5 different backgrounds all cooped up in one room for hours & the only thing that united them all was when the music went on & they all started dancing.
Sure, the weed had something to do with it BUT that point in the movie always stuck with me. To that point, music is the one thing that can bring people together.
