The Afrika Djelly series has featured an astonishing array of musicians from the reaches of the international musical spectrum - in an African party, open mic jam. We make history EVERY TIME, with combinations like Morrocan oud, Indian sitar, Botswana vocals, Congolese drums... but ain't no anthropology goin' on here.
Award-winning multi-instrumental birthday boys Kobena Aquaa-Harrison and Dylan Bell, perform with many of Canada's top artists, yet rarely meet. Saturday April 26, they'll create a fantastic evening with you in this rare and exciting 'musical chairs' performance with other members of Djungle Bouti Orchestra.
They'll be joined by artists from Trinidad, Tanzania, Burundi, Barbados, Senegal to Serbia... That's why we say, "If we told you who was coming, we'd have to charge more."
