Creating Space for the Jazz Community
Two musicians - internationally renowned B3 Hammond player Kingsley Etienne, and Polish tenor saxophonist Peter Cheslie, who has joined the Toronto jazz community in recent years - have come up with the idea of creating a new space for jazz. This new venue will host regular jam sessions for musicians and fans to meet, a place to play and hear great live jazz, exchange ideas, and develop new projects. The city of Toronto, being hailed as “Jazz Town” needs more opportunities for the jazz community to develop and become truly integrated.
