THIS FILM SHOULD BE PLAYED LOUD: PURPLE RAIN
This Film Should Be Played Loud: See new, classic and rare concert films on the big screen.
Join us as we commemorate the life of Prince on the anniversary of his passing with the singular classic, Purple Rain. Now in its fourth annual screening, last year we had a packed audience singing along to favourites like “Let’s Go Crazy,” “When Doves Cry,” and of course the titular hit “Purple Rain.” Set against the subculture of the thriving Minneapolis music scene, Prince plays a struggling musician who tries to deal with his hatred for his father as he falls in love with a beautiful aspiring singer. This 80s Oscar award-winning cult hit features one of the greatest musical performances ever by an international superstar.
Arrive early as we kick off the night with the global sensation DJ Chris MaGee.
