2018 Calypso Mucho is anchored by 9-piece band SHAK SHAK featuring frontman Roger Gibbs and led by Dr. Chris Wilson, along with Panman Pat, Monty Hama, Susan G, Garth Blackman, and special guest John Orpheus. This year’s programme is a 2-hour revue of newly-arranged repertoire and original work, bringing you the many stylistic eras of the Calypso – from its Folk/Roots (1900-1920s) to Classic (1930s-60s) and Contemporary and Fusion.
