CeCe Winans Makes Joyful Noises at the Queensway Cathedral, Toronto
CeCe Winans turned a regular Friday evening last week into a spectacular night of worship and praise with a rare concert appearance in Toronto at the Queensway Cathedral, located in the city's west end.
The multiple Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award winner comes from a family of gospel singers, including her brother BeBe with whom she's scored tons of gold and platinum-certified albums. She sang most songs from her most recent album, Thy Kingdom Come, her eighth studio album which was released in 2008.
Winans was in the city as part of the House of Levi Music Group's series of concerts. Other upcoming concerts include Fred Hammond on September 19th and Hezekiah Walker on October 4. The concerts will be filmed for a new television project called, "Sounds Good."
