Mary J Blige Graces Toronto during Film Fest Week!
Toronto was treated to a double-dose of R&B Queen, Mary J. Blige, as she made a special appearance at the One X One Charity Gala, hosted by Actor Matt Damon, at Toronto's Kool Haus complex. The charity helps to improve the lives of children worldwide.
Blige performed a handful of her numerous #1 hits, including "Be Without You," "Real Love" and "No More Drama" at the event, which had approximately 200 guests.
The multi-award winning artist's ninth studio album, Stronger, is scheduled for release this November. The album's first release and summer club banger "The One," debuted in June featuring Toronto's rising hip-hop star, Aubrey "Drake" Graham.
Blige also walked the red carpet and graciously greeted her Toronto fans the following evening at the premiere of "Precious" a joint Tyler Perry/Oprah Winfrey project which screened at the Roy Thompson Hall, as part of the Toronto International Film Festival.
Blige can currently be seen in the newly-released Tyler Perry film, "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" in theatres now.
