10th Anniversary Celebration of The Trane Studio @ Brigantine Room, York Quay Centre, Harbourfront, Toronto, ON - Sat Feb 2nd!

The Trane Studio, named after legendary saxophonist John Coltrane, would have turned 10 in February.  The venue was the first African-Canadian-owned jazz venue in Toronto for generations, owned and managed by writer, director and programmer Frank Francis.

The 10th anniversary celebration features an all-star lineup of award-winning local and international acts who have supported The Trane Studio over the years: Alexander Brown, Waleed Abdulhamid, Ernest Dawkins, Ursula Rucker, and others.

Host: Garvia Bailey, host of Big City, Small World, Saturdays at 5pm on CBC Radio One 99.1 FM.
