Synopsis: Destiny follows the turbulent life of Lisa, a recent college graduate. The film is a romantic drama and explores several story lines that integrate a love story, the passionate pursuit of a music career and a return visit to Jamaica by the lead character. The film is a fast-paced contemporary Jamaican story, set mainly in Jamaica with introductory scenes set in Toronto. Destiny masterfully and artistically portrays Jamaican culture and music.
