Black Seal Rum
Gosling Black Seal Rum has a rich, intricate flavour, well balanced and nuanced with butterscotch, vanilla and caramel.
Today, unlike most spirits, Black Seal includes products of both pot stills, as used in fine Cognacs.
Bermuda’s largest export – and the one known around the world – is Gosling’s Bermuda Rum, produced here since 1850, and still going strong. Over the years Goslings Black Seal Rum has become synonymous with Bermuda. It is an essential ingredient in Bermuda’s fish chowder, adds the island flavor to the Bermuda Rum Swizzle, and is the tempest in Bermuda’s national cocktail: the Dark ‘n Stormy®. In the spring of 1806 James Gosling, the oldest son of William Gosling, wine and spirits merchant, set out from Gravesend, England on the ship Mercury, with 10 000 sterling worth of merchandise, bound for America. After ninety-one desperate days on becalmed seas, their charter ran out, and they put in at the nearest port, St. George’s, Bermuda. And the rest, as they say, is history. Delicious, deep, dark history.
Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum
The Appleton Estate, a glorious and fertile land located in the heart of Jamaica, is the birthplace of all Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, and the employees at Appleton Estate have been crafting this rum with the warmth, passion, and unique spirit of Jamaica for over 265 years.
At the Appleton Estate the production of rum is a craft. Every step in the process is carefully controlled, from the selection of the varieties of sugar cane that are grown on the Estate, to the natural culture of yeast and the crystal clear water from the Estate’s spring that is used in fermentation, to our unique distillation and blending methods.
Join us on Tuesday April 24 : 6:30-8:30 pm, and enjoy the spirit of Rum

Many people wonder what exactly is involved in a virtual sherry tasting. It involves much more than just tasting
