On Friday, December 28th, two Toronto music institutions, Do Right! Music and Higher Ground Radio, join forces for a special Holiday Soundclash. Soul & funk connoisseurs John Kong and Jason Palma will be throwing down the best jams of 2012 along with classics from various eras for the masses on Supermarket’s intimate dancefloor.
Kong and Palma go way back to the days of the legendary Movement parties which first took the city’s club scene by storm in the late 90s. Kong has been introducing worldwide audiences to the best in new Canadian sounds for over a decade through his Do Right label; while Palma’s popular show Higher Ground, every Thursday night, on CIUT Radio, hips music lovers to new releases and celebrates classic rare groove sounds.
