Approximately 2 decades ago many of us left the halls of West Hill for the final time. Since then we have gone on to College and University and have established successful careers and families. And while we some have maintained close connections with high school friends, many have not seen their graduation clasemates for almost 20 years. That is until now.
Organized by former West Hill alumni the single goal of this event is to bring old friends back together for a great night of memories and celebration. Here's some quick details:
WHERE IS THE EVENT BEING HELD
The West Hill Reunion will be hosted at COCKTAIL HOUSE, 2200 Brock Road in Pickering on Friday May 10, 2013. This upscale lounge provides the perfect intimate setting for a reunion event and is ideally located for those who have remained in Scarborough, or those who have moved to the York / Durham region.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT AT THE EVENT?
Simply put, you can expect an amazing night reconnecting with some old friends and reliving the glory days of the past. There will be two DJs (DJ Storm – Class of 94 & DJ Steve Maxx – Class of 92). Both are veteran Toronto Nightclub DJs and will be playing the biggest and best music of the 80’s and 90s!
The event is CASH BAR. And just in case the last 20 years have treated you well, there are VIP bottle service booths available for reservation (VIP Booth reservations can be made directly with the club by calling (905) 427-9700). Again,please note that any and all VIP booth reservations MUST be made through the venue and not the event organizers.
DO WE HAVE TO BUY TICKETS TO THE EVENT?
YES. But we have kept the price to $5 (which is pretty much the same price as the Fries & Gravy you used to get from the Café!). This $5 cost will offset venue and logistic expenses associated with making this event happen.
WILL THIS EVENT SELL OUT?
We hope so. Tickets will be limited to 350 and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Interest is quite high so once they are sold out, they are sold out. There will be tickets available at the door, but those will be $10 and will only be available if the venue is not at capacity. And yes, tickets can be purchase for wishing to bring their spouses!
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The dress code for this event is smart casual. While we don’t expect you coming in your prom attire, we also don’t want you showing up looking like you’re headed to Mr McKay’s gym class.
