Are you a Real Jerk Rum Connoisseur?
Are you an Art Connoisseur?

Join us on Tuesday April 28 at 6:30 pm for Rum Tasting and Art Show with Artist Gabrielle Lasporte

Angostura 1919
Angostura 1919 is a specially blended multiple award winning rum, which celebrates a very particular date in the development of the rum industry in Trinidad & Tobago, as well as the Caribbean.

Angostura 1824
Angostura 1824 is a blend of the finest mature rums, hand-picked by the Master Blender from selected casks.
These rums are aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels for a minimum of twelve years and then skillfully hand blended and re-casked. Upon the rum’s optimum maturity it is hand-drawn, filtered and bottled. It is then offered in very limited supply for your enjoyment.
Sip and enjoy this extraordinary and sensually crafted blend neat, on the rocks or with your favorite cigar.

Artist Gabrielle Lasporte
Passionate about all things creative, Toronto-based Graphic Designer and Visual Artist Gabrielle Lasporte has been the creator of many diverse art pieces across
many forms of media . She mainly designing works in the mostly unknown medium of Modern Batik (creating artwork by applying wax and dyes on fabric.)

In her 3rd Modern Batik series, Gabrielle continues her visual exploration of the human experience by now delving into water. Through this collection of work, Gabrielle explores the beauty of this natural force as a mirror for our lives. While working on this series, Gabrielle has started to experiment with Pirography (creating art by burning unto wood) and created the Ember Goddess series, a mixture of wood burning and modern batik exploring the strength in women.

Gabrielle’s work has been shown at notable events including the Manifesto Festival Art Exhibit, Queen West Art Crawl, and Toronto Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. She was the first batik artist to participate in The Artist Project, a contemporary art fair in Toronto, where she returned in February 2015 to present her latest collection.
