Featuring performances by Winston Farrell (Barbados), El Jones (Halifax), Adrian Green (Barbados), Ainsley Burrows (New York), Hyf GypsySun (Ottawa) and many more. Hosted by Dwayne Morgan, The South North Griots Summit brings together griots, poets and spoken word artists from across North America, the UK, and the Caribbean for a series of workshops, panels, and performances. This kickoff event focusses on collaboration between words and music, as notes and verse come together in harmony.
