Legendary Jamaican jazz guitarist and ska music pioneer Ernest Ranglin will mark the release of his 31st solo album, Ernest Ranglin at Side Door Records, with a one-night-only concert on Thursday, July 9 at Toronto’s Lula Lounge. Ranglin will be joined on stage by a who’s who of Toronto’s jazz scene: Michael Arthurs; Shane “Shaky” Forrest; Bobby Hsu; Bill King; Dave West; Magdelys Sevigne; Rebecca Hennessy and Everton “Pablo” Paul, the album’s executive producer. Juno Award-winning reggae artist Dubmatix will open the show. One copy of the album will be included per concert ticket purchase.
