Jay Douglas and Leroy Sibbles Live @ The CNE Bandshell, Exhibition Grounds, Toronto, ON - Thurs Aug 27th!

A dynamic singer and animated performer, Jay Douglas learned early on in his career that he possessed the gift for how to win over an audience, a gift he employs when he takes the stage today. With the skills of a veteran and the energy of a young man, Douglas commands the stage with an impressive wide-ranging arsenal of R&B, Soul, Top 40, Motown and Caribbean traditional favourites.

Douglas has shared the stage with a veritable Who’s Who of major stars, including R&B legends Fats Domino, Percy Sledge, The Manhattans, Peaches & Herb, Cissy Houston, Toots and the Maytals, Ziggy Marley, and Freddie McGregor.

A “living legend”, Leroy Sibbles is one of the legendary founders of reggae music!

Sibbles spent more than 20 years helping to establish reggae music in Canada and is known as “the Godfather of reggae in Canada” and one of the “sweetest singers in the business”.  In the last 15 years, he has been touring extensively in Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States.
