Back in 2002, Tricky Moreira began hosting a radio show on FLOW 93.5FM in Toronto called 'This House' that sparked some serious heat in the city, and ended up becoming one of the most sought-after shows around the globe. This House soon held syndications in five countries, and had listeners tuning in from around the world online in the hundreds of thousands for a decade. During that period of time, the This House parties were born to showcase the best house music, both classic and new, from some of the best underground local DJs. Moreira racked up many awards in broadcasting, Dj'ing, and producing, including a JUNO Nomination.
Starting From Scratch was another powerful player on that same station, hosting a slew of shows including the Midday Mix and Drive shows. To date Scratch is syndicated across Canada on Virgin Radio, tours with Russell Peters steadily, and has won too many awards to count, including the International DJ Award out of New York City.
On March 11th 2016, Tricky and Scratch meet up once again as friends to celebrate the show that made you bang on the basement furnace, turn up the volumes in your cars for a decade, and dance into all hours of the night.
Blue Elephant Recordings & Andre Blenman is proud to present the first THIS HOUSE party of 2016 with not only Two of Toronto's finest DJs, but two kids that grew up spinning vinyl and manipulating mixes like no others. Two Trailblazers whose combination of beats and vibes makes one bad ass party, for one night only, after a few years of playing apart.
