after months on tour, coming from Ottawa, Detroit, Halifax and Montreal, we're coming home.
More party than workshop (don't worry you can get your dance on and your write on too), we'll be celebrating a special summer and share tour tales. We'll be toting the freshest WWB t-shirts and be giving away dope door prizes.
This is the one that you call in sick the next morning for.
about WWB: Writing While Black is a community centre, people-powered workshop series is tailored to black writers at all stages of their writing journey (beginner, emerging, mid-career, established) writing in any genre or discipline (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, journalism, dramatic writing, spoken word etc.). The main goal of the workshops is to create a safe space and develop a community of black writers who can provide support to one another's artistic projects.
Location: Harlem Restaurant, 67 Richmond Street East, Toronto, ON
Time: 6p - 9p
