The Music From People City Youth Forum is a one day event presented by Myseum of Toronto in collaboration with the Royal Bank of Canada that will give young Torontonians (ages 18-30) a chance to connect with music industry professionals, their peers, and leaders of the financial world to learn about opportunities in Toronto’s music industry.
The event will consist of workshops and a panel discussion with a networking event to follow. Throughout the day our panelists and participants will offer insight into the wide range careers available in music from promotion to managament to artist development and more.
SCHEDULE
10:00: The host – R&B artist Divine Brown will welcome guests
10:10-10:20: Hosts will describe how the Music From People City Forum will work and what we hope to accomplish over the day. There will be 4 different questions that will be put to the tables for discussion in the morning.
10:25-12:30: Table discussions
The information that comes out of these questions in the morning will inform the questions that are put out into the group in the afternoon session.
12:30-2:00: Lunch and networking
2:00-4:00: Workshops (addressing questions that come out of the morning session)
4:30: Wrap up and plans for following-up
4:30-6:00: Networking Reception
