A Fabulous Summer Sunday Afternoon Event

Eddie Williams' Party for a Purpose and Birthday Celebration @ Edward Hotel, Markham, ON - Sat Feb 16th!

Hi friends, I NEED YOUR HELP.
Please allow me to share details with you about my annual Party For A Purpose Fundraising event.
Since its conception, over a decade ago Party for a Purpose has helped families, and kids experience the thrill of watching an NBA basketball game live. Party for a Purpose started when a close friend lost her son to gun violence, and I thought, how could I help her continue her son’s positive legacy.

So, after consulting with a few friends, we decided to create and sponsor a black history month essay-writing contest. The program has been a great success with over 500 kids throughout the years getting to experience a live basketball game from lower bowl seats, getting a meal, souvenir packages, the opportunity to do a Q & A, and take pictures with current and past NBA players.

In addition to the program and with your help, we were able to treat more than 50 families to attend a basketball game together as a unit.

This year 2019 with your help, Party For A Purpose will be supporting Dr Roz's Healing Place.

Here's Why:

Dr. Roz’s Healing Place is a not-for-profit charitable organization that has been in operation since 1981. The centre provides emergency crisis and care to women, children and youth emerging from abusive relationships access to a safe living environment conducive to healing and wellness. This facility helps them to recover from violence and trauma through an integrative and holistic approach.
Website

So there you have it, the purpose of The Party For A Purpose 2019.
How can you help? Share these details with everyone, attend the event on Saturday, February 16th, or make a donation right here.
With so much negativity in the world today here's an opportunity for us to make a difference.

Let's get this message to go viral.
